When I brought it to their attention that I had reserved a first floor handicap accessible room, they were very flippant and said ”I asked you when you checked in if you wanted two queen or a king size bed and you did not tell me you needed handicap”. When I returned, they provided me with a second floor room. I arrived at 1 PM and the front desk manager said I could check in and come back at 3 PM or so to pick up my key. The front desk did not provide me with the first floor handicap accessible room that I reserved several days earlier. I should have walked out again at this point - but I didn't. They were dressed in blue tee shirts, jeans and tennis shoes - not professional looking at all. When I was standing at the check in desk, three people were in an adjoining room looking at a computer screen, two of the three looked up and saw me and let me stand there for 3-5 minutes before one of them got up and asked if I needed something. I should have walked out when I first arrived - the mats were filthy at the front door. They do not tell you that on their website. Then you have a long walk into the actual ******. Not connected to the ****** - you have to walk across a parking lot, down a sidewalk, across the ****** parking lot and into the Hollywood ******. Looks like a hotel from the 70's that was refurbished (?) some time ago and never maintained.
